We are not responsible for another country's taxes or customs charges which may be imposed when your parcel is delivered, nor any delays in transit.
We will not accept parcels back for a refund where the customer has chosen to reject customs charges, as these are the responsibility of the customer.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Runway Scout is not responsible for parcels that are lost, damaged or delayed in transit due to the fault of Australia Post, DHL or other delivery carrier - we will trace your parcel on your behalf and do everything we can to locate your parcel, and lodge an investigation if required. A gift voucher less any "return to sender" fees will be issued for all parcels which are "returned to sender". We do not resend parcels for free once they have been sent back to us as a "return to sender".

If you‘re not happy with your new items, we‘ve made it super easy for you to return the item/s back to us as easily as possible!
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM TO US
1. To receive an online credit note from us, fill out the Returns Form enclosed with your parcel and send your parcel back to us!
2. We recommend sending your parcel back via traceable post and keeping a copy of your tracking number, as any missing parcels are the responsibility of the customer.
3. We don't provide a refund for your return postage cost, unless the error is Runway Scout's fault (eg wrong item or size sent to you by mistake) or your style has a manufacturing fault with it.
4. If you live in Australia, we recommend purchasing a returns label via our online Returns Portal with Australia Post at a discounted price of $9.15 (your return will be sent back via regular post with full tracking details emailed to you -

5. Once your return has been delivered to our warehouse and processed through our returns department, we will issue you with a credit note in the form of a gift card (sent via email) which has no expiry date! You can use it at any time on our website.
6. We aim to process all returns within 2-5 business days from when they are delivered to our warehouse.

WHAT CAN BE RETURNED?
All items (excluding items marked on the website as Final Sale and Accessories*) can be returned for an Online Credit Note (e-gift card) within 14 days of receiving your parcel (21 days for international returns).
We don't provide refunds unless there is a manufacturing fault with the style (please get in touch with our customer care team in the unlikely event you have this issue when you receive your parcel).
*Accessories - due to hygiene reasons, we do not allow returns of any accessories (ie hair accessories, scarves, scrunchies, hair clips, face and body products, home interiors, candles, sprays and sunglasses). We allow returns of shoes and handbags.
You don't need to contact us prior to returning your parcel, simply fill out the Returns Form (included with your order) and send it back to us within the timeframe below.
In order to receive an Online Credit Note, your return item must meet the following conditions:
- must be received within 14 days of receiving your order (28 days for international parcels)
- must be new and unworn with all original swing tags attached

must not be marked as a Final Sale item on the website
- must not have any dirty marks, make-up or fake tan marks
- must not smell of perfume, deodorant, body odour, cosmetics or washing powder
- item is not Face, Body and Beauty Products (eg masks, mists, scrubs, bath soaks, oils) or Home Interiors (eg candles)
- item is not Jewellery, Swimwear, Bodysuits or Undergarments (for clarity, shoes, handbags and hats can be returned if they meet our returns criteria)
Please also ensure you include our Returns Form when sending your garment back to us.As we quality-control all of our styles before they are sent out, we will inspect all return items upon receipt - any returns which fail to comply with the above will be sent back to you. The cost of return shipping is at the customer's expense, we will not refund or add credit for the cost of return postage. If you have received a faulty garment or an incorrect garment (due to Runway Scout's fault), we will cover the cost of your return postage. We will not process returns until your item is physically received by us in our warehouse. We recommend keeping a copy of your tracking number as we are not responsible for parcels lost in transit to us. Please note that while very effort is made to accurately display the colour of our garments, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be completely accurate.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
In compliance with Australian Consumer Law, Runway Scout is not required to provide a refund or exchange if you make a wrong selection, need a different size or change your mind. This includes payments made with AfterPay. If there is a major fault with the style you've purchased, we will offer to repair or replace it where available. If we cannot repair or replace the style, we will offer an online credit note or refund. All claims for faulty styles are assessed on an individual basis, and the outcome of a refund is at Runway Scout's discretion. If a refund is deemed necessary, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method used to place the order (eg credit card, PayPal, AfterPay or store credit). If you have used a combination of online credit note and card/PayPal/AfterPay, then your credit note will be re-issued and your payment refunded.Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges. We recommend using your Online Credit Note to purchase an alternative size or product.
Credit Notes have no expiry date. You will be provided with an Online Credit Note less the cost of any postage you paid when placing your order (if postage was applicable).
FINAL SALE ITEMS
Any items marked as FINAL SALE on our website (this includes styles which are part of our annual "Online Warehouse Sale", or which are marked as $20 Final Sale, $30 Final Sale, $40 Final Sale, or $50 Final Sale) are final and cannot be returned to us for a credit note, refund or exchange - unless the item received is faulty or your order was fulfilled incorrectly. Any Final Sale items which are returned to us will be returned to sender.
WHAT CANNOT BE RETURNED?
- Items that are "Final Sale" as noted above
- All Accessories (excluding shoes and handbags), Hair Accessories, Jewellery, Face and Beauty Products, Home Interiors, Swimwear, Bodysuits, Undergarments - due to hygiene reasons
- All items which fail to comply with any of our conditions under 'What can be Returned?"
PROCESSING OF RETURNS
We aim to process all returns the same day your parcel is received into our warehouse. During peak times though (sale periods, public holidays, Christmas/New Year), please allow 2-5 business days when your parcel is received by us. Upon completion, an email will be sent to you with your online credit note for you to use.
FAULTY ITEMS
We quality control our styles before they're sent out to you, to ensure they arrive in perfect condition! However, if you believe your garment has a fault, please email our customer service team at shop@runwayscout.com within a reasonable time of receiving the goods. Upon receiving your request we will handle this with high priority to arrange the best possible course of action for you!
RETURNS USING AFTERPAY
Returns remain subject to Runway Scout's returns policy.
If you wish to return your item/s, send them back to us as you would for a normal order.
When Runway Scout receives the item/s and accepts your return, we will issue a credit note for the total value of the item/s returned.
Your agreement with AfterPay will still stand and you will continue to pay any scheduled repayments.

Our size guides are based on an average only, and do not provide actual sizing of a garment. Sizes may also vary slightly between brands.
We recommend taking note of the size that our model is wearing (noted in our product description) and if we recommend going up or down a size (we will always make a special note if a particular style runs small or large to size).
All sizing on our website is in AUSTRALIAN SIZING - Size 6 (XS), Size 8 (Small), Size 10 (Medium), Size 12 (Large) and Size 14 (XL).
