Returns Policy

We want you to be 100% happy with your order. If you change your mind for any reason, we've made it super easy for you to return your order back to us.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM TO US

Return options:

  • Instant Refund: For eligible full-priced orders, create an account with Refundid and receive your refund instantly. Learn more.
  • Standard Refund: For full-priced items, submit your return, and your refund will be processed once we receive your return at our warehouse.
  • Store Credit: Receive a store credit for your return.

WHAT CAN BE RETURNED

Subject to the below, items can be returned for a REFUND or ONLINE CREDIT NOTE within 28 days of placing your order.

PROCESSING TIMES - once received into our warehouse (in Australia), returns are processed within 5-7 business days. If you are a US customer, your return will be processed once it's received into our Los Angeles returns facility (this is usually within 5 business days). Occasionally, there may be some delays in processing returns during busy sale periods.

  • Final Sale / Online Warehouse Sale - items marked as "Final Sale" or that are part of our Online Warehouse Sale - are FINAL SALE. This means that they cannot be returned for a refund, online credit note or exchange, unless deemed faulty by Runway Scout. They are last chance styles and will not be restocked. Any unauthorised Final Sale items which are posted back to us will be refused upon delivery and returned to sender.
  • Sale items - items purchased at a discounted price or marked as "Sale" are only eligible for a credit note. 

  • Accessories - due to hygiene reasons, we do not allow returns of earrings. For clarity, we allow returns of jewellery (except for earrings), shoes, sunglasses, handbags and hats.

Your return must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be received within 28 days of placing your order.
  • Must be new and unworn with all original swing tags attached.
  • Must not be marked as Final Sale on the website. 
  • Must not be soiled, have any dirty marks, make-up or fake tan marks. 
  • Must not smell of perfume, deodorant, body odour, cosmetics or washing powder.
  • Item is not Earrings.

Any returns which fail to comply with the above will be sent back to you. 

The cost of return shipping is at the customer's expense. If you have received a faulty garment or an incorrect garment (due to Runway Scout's fault), we will cover the cost of your return postage. 

We will not process returns until your item is physically received by us in our warehouse. We recommend keeping a copy of your tracking number as we are not responsible for parcels lost in transit to us. 

While every effort is made to accurately display the colour of our garments, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be completely accurate.

ITEMS PURCHASED WITH A GIFT CARD OR STORE CREDIT

Items purchased with a gift card or store credit cannot be returned for a refund. A credit note for the amount purchased will be issued to you.

FAULTY ITEMS

If your garment has a fault, please email our customer service team at shop@runwayscout.com within a reasonable time of receiving your parcel. Upon receiving your request we will handle this with high priority to arrange the best possible course of action for you.

DISCOUNT CODES

Discount codes will be switched off and cannot be used during a promotional sale (eg Online Warehouse Sale, Boxing Day Sale, Black Friday / Cyber Monday), or on styles which are marked as Sale or Final Sale.
